My mom always loved eating seafood and our favourite place to get it is at Satellite Fish Company out in Sidney, BC! This seaside town is about a 25 minute drive away and it always felt like a mini vacation whenever we’d go. 🏖

A couple weeks ago, Kim was nice enough to introduce us to their pets: Princess and her two pups Bright Eyes and Sanjay. He said that Princess had been coming there for 8-9 years before bringing her kids over too! She’s named Princess because they spoil her rotten - she doesn’t even touch the sole anymore when they feed it to her, only the oilier fishes! A regular customer named the darker faced pup Sanjay after her husband and Bright Eyes has the biggest cutest eyes ever. Kim told me that when Prince Harry was living in North Saanich, he came one afternoon and didn’t believe that her name was “Princess”!
