I listen to a lot of audiobooks these days but nothing can beat the feeling of the rest of the world falling away when you’re completely lost in a book! This was my Mom’s favourite bookstore: @tannersbooks in Sidney. Growing up, she encouraged me to try new things and follow my interests by reading new books. Tanner’s has always had one of the best crafting and art book stocks! I’ve picked up books on felting cute wool animals, sock puppet sewing, knitting, crocheting, watercolour painting and much much more here. I recently got a copy of Finding the Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard and can’t wait for the sun to come out so I can read this book outdoors!
