Growing up down the street from the corner store, I used to always beg my grandma to let us get freezies on the way home from school. I loved that they had 5 cent double trouble bubblegum! My Mom would always take us to the corner store for ice cream and we’d go sit on the steps of St. Dunstans together afterwards. Mom’s favourite was always the chocolate drumsticks and I’d get an ice cream sandwich.
