These are three of my favourite shops downtown: Tai Sang Grocery, Brasserie l'Ecole, and Smoking Lily! I was so impressed to see Tai Sang was open on Christmas Day (thank god because I didn’t buy groceries for Christmas Dinner)! I have only dined at the Brasserie l’Ecole a few times but I loooooove their onion soup. It is always such a special place to celebrate a milestone! And last but not least is the Smoking Lily. They used to be on Johnson Street, and held the title for the smallest storefront in Victoria for most of my life. I always make a point of dropping in to see what’s new when I’m in the area! The last time I was there, I absolutely fell in love with their Narwal and Garry Oak designs! :)
